if i had it my way everyone would pay zero taxes. i hate taxes. but what i hate worse is rich people who bitch about their taxes when they lie, cheat, and use every loophole to pay nothing.. while the middle class have to make up for that

I never said he broke the law, i said he cheated his taxes (legally but morally wrong) you are looking at the issue in black and white. you aren't seeing the big picture.

also why didn't you answer my question as to how someone magically has 100M in their IRA when you can only put in 5 or 10K max a year? that is pretty fucked up. i have an IRA myself and had to pay a penalty for putting too much in but romney gets away with it?

I dated a Mormon myself so I am very familiar how the church works. you have to give money to get in and the more money you give the more power/favors you get back. Mormons are extremely powerful in the business world and if you have connections you will get very far. really the money that he gave the church was bribe money .. Mormonism is NOT like other religions, its very much like a cult and a club. you walk into a baptist church and pay nothing and they pass around a basket and you throw in 20 bucks and you are g2g. in the Mormon church you are NOT allowed in unless you pay and pay big. the money he gave the church was an INVESTMENT and boy did he get a good return on that investment!! also it helps when your daddy has political connections on top of that.

You realize the burden falls on Reid to prove anything. If you believe anything someone says based on anonymous sources then you have no idea how the world works. You can't just go around asserting things without any proof.

This has just turned into class warfare. Everyone just hates on the successful because it's not them.

If you have issues with taxes/funds/etc then contact your representatives about reforms. These people aren't doing anything illegal, they have good accountants who know how to work the system. Fix the system.

Obama has done nothing beneficial for our economy and we are 2 million jobs short of where we should be under him in terms of job creation.

The 5 trillion added to our national debt is going to cripple us in the future.

Well Romney does pay his taxes and paid over $4 million in a year. And he donated 5+ million to the Mormon church. Capital gains taxes are 15% due to the nature of the investment, it's not guaranteed. He just has great advisors who make wise investments. The wealthy pay 42% income tax, his wasn't income it was capital gains.

When I say fair share, I don't mean that Romney broke any laws (that we can prove, yet), I mean that tax policy needs to change to favor the majority of Americans and not the rich. Raising taxes on guys like Romney is good for America. Why should a janitor pay a higher rate than a multi millionaire? The SLIGHT rise in tax rates proposed by Obama will help with the deficit (which you seem to care about), fund the country, and be in line with low tax rates in the past that were prosperous.

And you forgot to mention the Mormon Church. If they are going to be a political organization then lets get fair taxes off their 5 Billion annual income.

B. Start 2 wars costing an estimated 4T when its all said and done.

E. Bail out the banks. 800 B right there.

It didn't used to be like that. All the money went to the top, and now the people at the top say lets get more money from the dregs still left at the bottom.
Republicans are criticized for favoring the rich and fighting a war against the middle class. Do you not see how true this is, with your own talking point? Half the country has 2% of the wealth. 150 million people with less money than 400 fat cats at the top, and you whine that they don't pay enough? You could take all their money and it would not add up to shit.
That's not the way America should be.

Somehow we attack the wealthy as if they did something wrong. Romney is a self made millionaire and that used to be the American dream.
