Not by choice either. Some of you may recal my thread a month or 2 ago stating that I needed a new car. I had decided to just wait, but on Saturday while going shopping with one of my friends the fucker quit on me. Fuel pump I'm guessing. So I'm sitting across from the shop having a beer and some lunch and decide fuck it. Called em back and cancelled the repair.
I then called a friend at the dealer where I used to sell cars to see what he could do for me. he called me back a half an hour later and said I was approved and to come in.
Picked up a 2005 Chevy Impala. Just the Sedan, but still a pretty nice car. Power everything. 30K miles. I know it's alot for an 05, but I only drive 5K a year so no biggie. Picked it up for just under $12K. Thing is in great shape.
I'm fuckin stoked! Been driving the same bucket of bolts for the last 4 years. That was a '94 too.
Even though this wasn't even on the list of cars I was considering, the deal was pretty sweet and after driving/seeing it I couldn't pass it up. Plus I needed a car that day.
