Finally broke the mold in squats

busted 235 today ass to floor (yeah, big weight :rolleyes: ), but for the longest time, I couldn't break 225. the reason was my stance was too wide, and I was using mostly my hams. this time, I did a less than shoulder width stance, and sat down on 235. good shiet. my legs haven't felt this good for a couple of months. ok, I am done feeling ecstatic.

good job, going past parallel on a wide stance ihard for me as well but if I go shoulder width it is not a problem,. Keep up the hard work

I apologize if you got the wrong idea, I didn't bottom out on 235, I squatted 235 with ease. seems, all this time I hadn't properly worked out my quads, and this was just what the doctor had ordered. my knees even feel more solid.
 
no no i know that you did 235 ! i was just trying to encourage you by citing my own failur because you didnt seem as proud of your accomplishment as you shoulda been.
