No damage to my place at all which is a miracle. Building one block away had their roofs totally blow off ... including rafters.

The AC units on the roof of my place got blown around so wiring was a problem, but got that restored a few hours ago.

Yeah, I made a few trips to the bar since my return. Spent 19 days in Searcy, AR. It's a nice little town, but it's in a dry county hard to get accustomed to since I'm born and raised in New Orleans.

Yeah, I'm pretty fortunate.

It's still not too nice here. Even though my area isn't completely decimated like some areas of N.O. most restaurants and stores aren't open and the few that are on limited schedules. Our parish is still under curfew from midnight to 5 a.m.

I talked to a pizza shop owner today. Out of his 19 employees only 3 have returned.
