Fina question???????????

I mixed up 3 bottles last night and one of them i let sit in the coffee filter overnight. It is a lot darker than the other 2. There must be a lot of glue in it, the syringe filter got clogged. I baked it for 10 mins, is this safe to use? Or should I order another filter. I have never done fina before and i don't know if the glue will cause a problem. Is it the glue itself or bacteria? I can always bake it again but i am not sure if this is sufficient.

Experienced Fina users please help.

There is NOOOOOOOOOO glue in Finaplix or binders. It's cellulose ultra compressed @high pressure.......that's all.

ok, but do i have to filter it again or bake it or neither. i am not really concerned with what it is but rather will it cause a problem when injecting?

I don't totally understand what your situation is...did you filter all of the fina with the sterile filter, or only filter until it clogged and then dumped the rest in? Heating does not sterilize your mixture, that is what the sterile filter is for.

So, if you filtered it and you are just concerned because there is residue in the bottom of the vial, don't sweat it. That is normal. If you did NOT sterile filter all of the solution, you NEED to do that before you inject.

I filtered completely with the coffee filter and the sterile filter. the sterile filter was getting clogged, but i did manage to get it all thru. My question is whether it is ok to shoot now. It has been cof filtered, sterile filtered, and cooked. It is just darker than the other 2 i made.
