Fina kit instruction help needed

I've got the syntholdirect.com conversion kit. My question is about the oil. It says to draw up 2ml of oil with the 5ml syringe and to recap it and set it aside. The remaining oil is poured into the vial with disolved Fina.

It nevers refers to the 2ml of oil in the 5ml syringe ever again. What do you do with it? Why is it drawn out and set aside?

After you filter the "fina" solution in the final vial....You use the 2cc of oil to purge the filter....Basically, getting the good fina out of the filter....Hope this helps....Fumunda.....

Get "A" 's kit next time, seems like a lot of people are having problems with those kits

Just so that I'm absolutely clear.....

After you empty the vial of combined oil and disolved fina into the filter and let is drain completely, you add the 2ml of oil to the same filter to make sure all the fina has gotten drained. And then you gently ring out the filter. Correct?

Im not real sure exactly what you are talking about....Are you using a coffee filter as a pre-filter?....Dont put the oil in the coffee filter....Use the 2cc of oil to purge the syringe filter....Fumunda
