Fina going up extremely slow in 21g...something wrong with it?

My homebrewed Fina seems to take FOREVER to get up into my syringe. I have started using 21g for glutes, but now that I see it takes like 2 full minutes to suck in barely 1ml, I am having doubts about it even being able to get up into my 25g x 5/8" ones for spot injects. Does anyone else have this problem with homemade fina?

not me, i draw w/ 18g and shoot w/ 25 g

Try running the it under hot water first. Thins it out a bit.

Really? Ill have to give that a try next time. My Test Ethanate is oil based and it sure is a bitch!

Always run the vial under hot water for a minute first. In my experience this reduces pain greatly.

Well its not that it hurts, it barely does, its just that its so damn hard to draw into the needle! ARRGGH!

Hmm. Drawing 2cc's usually takes me about 45 secs with a 23g pin.

Do you inject an equal amount of air into the vial before drawing?

Yup. Takes me about a good minute or two fill 1/2 a cc with a 23g, thats all I have....

ive used 27G for my homebrew fina with no problems....for the draw and the inj

You're using a 21 gauge needle on your glutes?????

I do glute-only shots, probably use the most FIna out of everybody and I have no problems with a 23 gauge, 1.5" 3ml pin.

I can't imagine using a 21 gauge. That would leave a crater on your ass.

Yes, I had a few 21g left from my last cycle, though the majority are 23g and 25g from my new batch, and these are what I will be using when the leftovers are gone. As I said before, my sust redijects were actually 20g, and it wasn't that bad either. Maybe I'm just a masochist lol
