Filtering solution for 1000ml

Hello! I am going to buy a filtering solution that will be able to filter 1000ml at a time fairly fast (2-3 hours). I want to pay as little as necessary

Any tips for what to look at?

yes milipore sells these flasks that take 500mls at a time. which uses a 0.22um filter but you need a vacuum pump. look in to it.
we use it at my work place and the filter is abou 20 bucks each. duno if that helps.

That does help. I can get thoose fairly cheap where I live. But what kind of vacuum pump do I need?

Get your filter flasks and vac pump at getpinz. Don't go with .22um filter, takes too long and not needed. Use .45um filter in your flask. Make sure your oil is nice and hot for better flow through filter. You might want to get two of them for 1000ml as they do get clogged up at the 500ml mark depending on what oil you use.
