Filtering Fina

How many times are everyone filtering there fina? When filtering twice I get a nice clear, light, golden color, but after it sits overnight it turns more of a dark gold and not as clear. Is this normal? I am told this will happen when heating up the tren to help the dissolving process.

I always heated up the tren when it's dissolving but that never affected the color of the end product. If you filter once with a 45 and once with a 22 you don't have worry about what color it is. It's clean.

I disagree.

Anytime I have seen heat apply to the mixture, it turns it a little darker.

As for filtering, prefiltering with the coffee filter/funnel and then the .45 is pleanty.

I don't use heat. I crush the pellets in a straw and filter with a 45 and 22 after letting everything sit for 24 hours first. In the past I have noticed heat can make it darker. I think your stuff is good to go.

Thanks for the info, from everything I read I figured it was probably for the heat. I justed wanted to hear first hand from others.
