How many of you guys use filter needles when pulling from amps? If you dont it is a good idea. In hospitals anytime amps are used filter needles are used to draw the med out. Tiny pieces of glass that you cant see when injecting over a course of time can cause scar tissue. The ones I use are 19g, 1.5''

I am new to filters. I got some (Whatmans) because I want to filter some oil I plan to use to dilute some gear, but I haven't done it yet. Maybe you can tell us a little about how to use filters. You just put it on the syringe between the syringe tip and the needle? I assume it you draw first without the filter, then put the filter on the full syringe, then inject (through the filter). Is that right?

The filter needles are made with a filter in them. I draw from the amp with the filter needle then change the tip to my 23g 1''. This way I will catch any microscopic pieces of glass from entering the syringe.
