Cali-
You didn't ask or say anything that I didn't like or took offense to.
It sounds like you really have some rock-solid tactics and techniques when it comes to training post-partum athletes. Not what I need for this particular project, but it demonstrates that you really know your stuff.
Why would someone willingly give up their secrets for a measily $150 bucks? Publicity. That's why.
Your secrets are no good if nobody knows your name. Recently, I wrote a sample chapter in a marketing book. For free. The main author didn't offer me a cent.
I didn't ask for a cent. Because I knew revealing a few of my marketing tricks in his book would bring a steady stream of new clients to my door.
I recognized the value (not cost!) of the opportunity. I didn't turn him down because of how much the pen and paper cost. I didn't say "hey, I can't do this for free, it costs money to run my computer!"
But, I digress.
I'm not here to explain advanced marketing tactics to beginners. You're right, not many responses to this post (although, I wasn't looking for responses, I was looking for emails, which I've gotten).
I wouldn't ask Doggcrap because he specializes in different aspects of personal training. He's booked solid training pro bodybuilders, and this project calls more for a trainer used to dealing with people who aren't as dedicated as your average pro.
Seriously, though, were you just joking or have you really not heard of Doggcrap/Dante?
