There is a difference between putting your hand on a womans throat and choking her. Just having the hand there gives the feeling of total control to the man. I have had good luck with that move myself. Some women dig it.

Another good one is to take one hand and take a fist full of her hair, then pull her head backwards some, so her neck is taunt.
