Red stripe.
Kalik. (Not the state-side junk)
Miller lite for volume drinking
Bass Ale for polite drinking

I've been drinking Blue Moon pale ale and liking it. But a good stand-by is Labatt Blue Light.

Corona, MGD, High Life, Bud Light...anything really. Beer is beer for me.

I hate Alexander Keyes (sp?) though. Had a draft of it once, it was god awful.

Yep, I've had all of those. All of them being pretty similar aside from Sierra Nevada.

String bean: It shows you haven't had these beers if your favs are MGD and Corona. Try some real beer orb.

I'm a college student. I'm supposed to drink shitty beer.

Your fancy schmancy beers are for you people with real jobs and such.

you have no clue what you're missing.

you quoted me before my edit too....i accidentily listed Rouge Dead Guy Ale mistakenly for Dixie Blackened Voodoo.

Most of the beers i drink are heavy and dark. i prefer them that way. full bodied, tons of taste. it's acquired. first time i tasted guiness i almost spit it out.

I like a clean crisp beer every now and then. If i get in the mood for something like that, i'll look for Sam Adams Spring Ale or Summer Ale, or sometimes the Cherry Wheat.

my taste in beers changed almost overnight. one week i was drinking some cheap ass beer because it got me drunk fast, the next week i was sipping on darker beers. by the time i was 22, i couldn't touch cheap beer unless it was free. a good friend of mine got sick of always drinking the cheap shit, so he broadened my drinking selection. best thing anyone has ever done for me.

That explains it then. I'm probably poorer than you are though, so you have to try some real beer.

Similar in that they are dark and heavy, and all are excellent.

Yeah I've done a complete 180 compared to when I was younger. I used to only be able to tolerate miller lite, corona, and so on. Now if that garbage touches my lips I wanna spew a la Linda Blair in the Exorcist. It is definitely acquired. I'd start with slightly better light beers then progress into darker thick bodied beers. You ever try Pilsner Urquell crak? Real crisp that one.

never tried it. i havn't had much of a chance to do excessive alcohol consumption in a few years. too busy anymore really. my desires have been shifting to liquor lately. i had a few beers a couple weeks ago, but can't for the life of me remember the last time i had a beer prior to that. i'm getting fuckin old and i don't fuckin like it.

Well, if you are ever in the mood for a crisp tasting beer and see Urquell snatch that mug up. It is becoming more widely available lately from my experience. Czech beer.

My brother! Good list. I would add:

Rogue Morimoto Soba Ale
Delerium Tremens
Bridgeport Bottle Conditioned Porter
Terminal Gravity IPA (just started to be bottled)

Hoegaarden's probably my fave.

another fine brew, white as the sheets of the KKK. I hate that I can only buy the small little bottles around here, but the pubs have it on tap - whoot.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you americans don't get to try a lot of the really good stuff.

so? we kicked your assess over 200 years ago and we'll do it again if need be.

Guinness on tap
Murphy's on tap

usually I drink the canadian version of Coors light, which isnt bad,but isnt great, but its cheap and I am in college and most places dont serve my first choices unless its a local pub

I forgot Hobgoblin

Arrogant Bastard Ale - Stone Brewery, which is an awesome brewery btw. They make a solid IPA too, but IPA is too bitter for me sometimes.

Bud light for domestic lets get drunk beer!

I had some milwaukees beast light the other weekend - by far the worst beer ever.

Moosehead, Grolsch, Pete's Strawberry blonde, Rolling Rock are also favorites.

Depends on my mood I guess.

*Domestic
Amber Bock
Sam Adams Summer Ale

*Import
Caffreys Irish lager
Boddington's Ale
