Fatburner for my gf ! advice?

thermorexin she likes..

5'8" 135-140.. she actually likes the warmness especially during the winter..

Thermorexin is an awesome product for fat burning but if the body isn't used to stims already, it's going to be an overdose of jittery feelings, much like the ECA stack.

Cardio Breeze is a good product for "beginners" but again, it's designed to primarily help someone get their energy levels up to do cardio/lifting routines or simply go about their day at work.

If you're looking for something for calorie control for someone who isn't a gym rat already (or headed that way), I think the Sesapure/Glucorell combination is best. My father was on this for 6 months and, without changing his diet and by maintaining his daily 1-hour walk outside, he dropped 50 lbs in 6 months. I myself have lost my last 30# (of the total 115# I've lost) in the last year by taking Sesapure 3 times a day and Glucorell twice a day (lunch and dinner).

Also, will she change her DIET at all? We are huge on that on the women's board -- diet, diet, diet! If she just wants a pill "fix"... try the Sesa/Gluc combo. Throw in the CB or Therm if she's in the gym... if not, start with the basics, but DIET is super important and she'll get faster results if she diets well (and NO, tuna/celery and olive oil doesn't constitute a REAL MEAL in the world of CHICKS :D )

Lastly -- no carbs til lunchtime. No carbs after dinnertime. This goes for everyone, all ages, all genders, all training levels. Protein and good fats are where it's at for morning and evening eating -- get away from the sugar/processed carbs.

This is the best advice I can give anyone. Hope it helps your girl (and you) out. :D

Aside fro what t-cake mentioned... spot reduction is a 'myth' ... her diet is in question and things needs to be tweaked.. ALWAYS start with diet. More info we can help her better ... what does she eat when how much, cals? etc stuff like that...

I am trying to get people OUT of the mindset that a pill is the answer... Im fat I need a pill, I want muscle, I need a pill, etc....
Food tweaks make a HUGE difference without going there... YET....
a supplement SUPPLEMENTS a healthy diet and training program...

Start with diet always.

Otherwise listen to tcaker baby.

Best wishes

Bunny wrote what I was going too. Have her get her lifestyle in order. If she's suddenly gaining weight something is going on....

Thanks for all your replies guys. Yea I think the most important thing is a lifestyle change. She need to cut out all the junk food. She will be doing some modeling shoots and need to loose the weight pretty quickly.

Sesapure and Glucorell combo is best then? She is going to the gym daily. Should she do the therm instead?

Again thanks for all your help.

Im doing some work in a few weeks and I will be ready b/c I cut all the crap outta my diet.

Example, 3 weeks clean eating...

My diet can be random...
I posted a few ideas here of what Ill eat depending on the day, if I have school it's a little diff since Im at work all day the straight to class, or if I train in the PM etc... I am prepping for a competition in 8 weeks SO things may change pretty quick diet wise depending on how Im responding.

U rawk so much. This is gonna help me alot. I lose weight then gain it.. I go town to 165 and go up to 210.. But ive noticed its alot harder to take it off these days. SO this time im taking it off for good. This will really help me out. If only I had half as much ambition as you.

HEY if I can do it so can you...
:) How can I help?

The hardest thing is, I live at home. Im 24 and Igo to school fulltime.. Italian mom cooks like 3 times a day lol. I no longer have a job so that is a good thing. I havent eaten fast food in about 3 weeks now and strangely I don't have a craving either..

Right now im 208lbs and im 5'8''. I just got a membership to this huge community center in the city my school is in, and i have class all the time. I definetly need to lose atleast 30 pounds. I feel like I have no stamina too.

Im afraid my diet is gonna push me off the edge and i'll break..

I eat eggs and toast in the morning. A salad and pickles for lunch. and more eggs and pickles for dinner and a big glob of anpb. I drink a few bottles of water too.

Im going to school for Registered Nurse so i really know how carbs/lips/proteins are used and metabolized. But still i feel bad if i eat carbs even if they are complex.

I dont know what else to say. I am going to the gym now and will go 4-5 times a week and they will include cardio on those days of atleast 25 min on top of working out.

FIRST THING'S FIRST.... NO MORE EXCUSES. Taking ownership, and responsibility for, your success and failure is the biggest key to true transformation. As for the mom issue... Your mom cooks the food, it's up to you to say NO, cook your own food, and/or get her to cook you some grilled chicken breasts each day before she breads the rest and puts on the mozzarell.

I wish I had this problem of an over-eager mom, but I find that moms who love to cook will cook what you ask them to as long as they see it makes you happy and you're eating it.

Bottom line, you are in charge of what you put into your body.

Yeah it is, BELIEVE me I understand :) I promise you this though, keep to a good program consistently and follow a guru like Bunny's advice, and you'll reach this point where you're doing SO WELL that that becomes all you care about and except for the weekly or bi-weekly cheat meal, nothing can keep you off the course you map out for yourself. You have the willpower to reach your goals I promise.

I have a few questions that I dont know or haven't learned the answers to.

I see Bunny eats oatmeal. I like oatmeal but only with splenda. Is there a limit to splenda intake per day?

Also how about coffee? Is it bad if it's sweetened with splenda? I have these generic crystal light things too that are sugar free. Can i add those to water? Are all things things considered "clean"

And sorry for jacking this thread up lol.

I'm glad I moved out of my mom's place at 18. I fear visiting for the sole purpose that mothers show affection through their meals. It's hard to tell your mom that you dont want to eat the meal shes been slaving over for the last 2 hours.

There's nothing wrong with adding splenda to your oatmeal or coffee or crystal light to your water.. try to use moderation and and reason. Two packets on the oatmeal, then try one at some point and eventually u might like it plain down the road (or not and thats OK too). Just a general rule of thumb with artificial sweeteners, don't go overboard. No 30 packets a day of the stuff!! They won't ruin your diet though and they definitely really can help satisfy the sweet tooth and make boring food taste better.

Alright. I have a huge bag of it and usually i put a few spoonfools in coffee and i put a few spoons in the oatmeal. Its the first time ive had oatmeal in like a year. I forgot howu good it was. But i added a little skim milk because i hate how thick it is.

Awww Kab right on brotha :garza:

little bit of tough love you got going on up there but gordz, you're lucky you live in a country where NOT eating the hosts food is an insult... seems you are a bit spoiled in a few ways, but HEY, I was too and I am such a brat about it!! BUT you either decide if you want to be chunky or see your abs one day, and eating home cooked Italian is OT the quickest way to get you there... for a cheat meal once a week? SURE, but limit it.. cut it down if you have to to start so you don't quit right away...

Splenda is fine, also cinnamon, ALSO berries up in that oatmeal... I HATED oatmeal and sweet potatoes, NOW i love them, YUM-MY... healthy food CAN taste good, it doesn't have to be painful ...

remember your diet is #1 priority here, you can train you butt off and eat like crap but I am guessing it's not going to her you to where you want to go.
Diet
Training
then cardio in that order, I feel is the key to success, at least mine and few others I know :)

Moderation is good, so enjoy yourself once in a while, but ultimately remember your goal is to lose fat and things will fall into place once you get into a routine ... esp with the ating habits...

tell your mom, that you love her and her cooking to death but maybe to prepare some healthy dishes for you? or not get mad if you stop eating her food so often?

Right now this is what I do...
up at 4 am gym at 5, try to study there if I can doing my post workout cardio, get ready for work, work til 5, class til 9pm, gym again, home sleep rinse repeat... sure i am training for a comp but hey, you can always find a way if you want it bad enough...

Amen, sister! We are training twins 'cept I get to sleep in til 5:15am! :qt: Wahoo! :arty

Bunz, what supps are you taking now, if any?

As for the eating at home and the gf situation.. another piece of advice for both of you is a CHEAT meal. One day a week, one huge meal where you get those cravings out of your system.

Some people go without this when cutting fat or leaning out... but I am far too much into food and yummy snacks to just go without!

Also, it is much easier to pass up mom's manicotti on a Wednesday night if you can set it aside or freeze it til Saturday and know you can have that AND and extra piece AND dessert on top of that. My family was super understanding that when I went out to eat on Saturday nights back when I was near home... *I* go to pick the restaurant b/c it was my ONE CHANCE all week to restore the glycogen stores I've burned up all week long by cutting and training. Sunday's training day always felt AWESOME too -- and of course the Sesapure/Glucorell was my savior for that Saturday meal (and still is).

Should your gf add therms? If she doesn't see results with the combo, add in a therm, but there's no reason for overkill ya' know? You saw from Bunny's pics what a change in diet can do; supps will only accelerate that. She (and I) are both living proof. :qt:
