Fat on Cycle

carrots are a sweet veggie.

you want BITTER veggies. green leafy veggies are very important. why not just eat a salad with every meal? that would take care of your situation

you will get bored fast from brown rice and chicken all the time. find a specialty grocer and have fun shopping.. a big problem many guys have is they shop at the piggly wiggly and don't have many options, if you find a co-op or specialty grocer that sells a lot of diverse foods you will open up your playbook. its like running the option every play in football, its boring... and its a myth that they are more expensive, if you know how to shop smart they aren't that much different in price.

Brown rice can and should be one of your staples, but you can also get your carbs from oatmeal, quinoa (spelling?), sweet potatoes, etc. All are reasonably priced, easy to make and rotating through them will give you some variety and different nutrient profiles.

This past few years I've done several bulks which have involved me gaining 20lbs+ of fat each time... I'm now coming to the conclusion that this is absolutely pointless, its just sheer impatience, no one is ever going to gain 25-30lbs of new pure muscle in three months no matter what they take or how they eat or train.... I think everyone comes to learn what works for them through experience, for me, on my next bulk I hope to gain somewhere around ten pounds with minimum fat, I've learned from past mistakes that being unrealistic about how much muscle I can gain is counterproductive... Over time you'll find what works for you and strategies that minimise fat gain...

Agree with Stevesmi on the veggies, they are cheap full of quality nutrition, keep you from being constipated on a high protein diet and on top of that I find wolfing down a few hundred grams of veggies a day leaves less space in the diet for any worthless crap.....

I hit 205lbs on my last helladrol cycle from 183lbs and I lost two percent body fat if you know how to eat and train an what works for your body from years of already messing around with your diet and training style you can gain 20+ pounds of straight muscle from a well thought out cycle and food selection i think gear is a magical drug if you know what you're body responds to

very true I.want to.gain less fat as possible whilst maximizing my gains

k.

Just work on eating as clean as posible. I have been steadily improving my diet and it has really shown. Its a lot harder when you get older and you have kids, damn kids and donuts.
Anyways you shouldn't be eating like shit just because you are on cycle. Find a tereyaki bowl place and get the chicken or salmon over brown rice before or after wo meal and for dinner have a salad a protien and vegetables. I have been neglecting them for a long time, once I started incorporating them into my meals its much easier to stay eating quality foods.

Srt8088; Congrats on your gains, I have never seen anyone gain and keep any more than eight pounds of quality muscle from a single cycle, your result is very impressive but definately not typical in my experience, I don't think the average trainee will benefit from trying to gain over 20lbs of body mass from a single cycle...

dvoted; thanks bro!
