This past few years I've done several bulks which have involved me gaining 20lbs+ of fat each time... I'm now coming to the conclusion that this is absolutely pointless, its just sheer impatience, no one is ever going to gain 25-30lbs of new pure muscle in three months no matter what they take or how they eat or train.... I think everyone comes to learn what works for them through experience, for me, on my next bulk I hope to gain somewhere around ten pounds with minimum fat, I've learned from past mistakes that being unrealistic about how much muscle I can gain is counterproductive... Over time you'll find what works for you and strategies that minimise fat gain...
Agree with Stevesmi on the veggies, they are cheap full of quality nutrition, keep you from being constipated on a high protein diet and on top of that I find wolfing down a few hundred grams of veggies a day leaves less space in the diet for any worthless crap.....
