Fat loss but unfortunately with muscle loss too

So wait... if you have low test levels are you doing anything about it? Run some sort of anabolic to stave off muscle loss.

Thanks guys for the advice. I'm taking in 1800 calories per day (500 deficit) with minimum of 30% protein and the rest consist of healthy fats at 30% and carbs at 30%. I carb cycle 3 days off 1 day on. Been doing this the last 4 months. My cardio workout consist of 30mins low intensity jog straight after a 90mins workout. I workout 5days a week. Sometimes I do a 30mins HIIT on my carb days.

I befriended a gym buddy whom is an ex national swimmer, a recreational bber and a full time nutritionist now. He noticed that I lost weight and that I look overtrained. We spoke of my diet, training and also some supplements. I did everything right according to him but then he ask if I've checked my test level. I told him I have low test and he started laughing. Only did I realised that he used to have the same issue when he was 30. I'm 34 when this happened. He said that he wasn't aware of this even when he was a national athelete. He has the speed and stamina but not the body of an swimmer. He showed me his pics to proof it, small chest and arms with some skinny fats. His body now is ripped with visible 6 packs despite being 42yrs old.

He introduced me to some "supplements" which are basically steroids. He doesn't know that I'm a member of EF lol. He says that he's able to get me Tbol to boost my test level. It's going to be a 4 week cycle at 50mg/day to test my sensitivity. It will also help to preserve my muscles while I'm cutting. Only then I'm able to combine Danabol & Test E for my bulking up cycle.

Now I'm quiet happy that he has some aas knowledge to begin with. I'm going to purchase the Tbol from him but before that just need to know your further advice.

Less cardio.

More intensity during weight training sessions.

Less rest in between sets.

Gear throughout the day.

This is will keep muscle loss to a minimum.

bingo. these young guys don't know shit about training. them and their 3 sets where they spend 5 minutes in between chatting on their little gadgets at the gym. then they jump on steroids cause they dont gain shit on cycle thinking that is the solution.

I keep the intensity real high in the gym and usually stay around 10-12% bf. I don't think I could work out any harder than I do now. The only thing I change when I cut is add cardio on off days from the gym and do abs non stop for about 25 minutes. That has always worked. If need be I will add a few morning cardio days in there including less cheat meals on the weekends. People tend to over complicate things way too much. If you already have a solid routine then a minor change could be all you need.

For your info, I train like an athelete and not a bodybuilder. I always keep my intensity high as I'm using a public gym. The equipments there are complete but sadly too many people workout at the same time usually at 6.00pm. Thus, one has to queue up to use say the incline bench or the squat rack. That's why I spent most of my time on the treadmill waiting for my turn.
