Is this like me and my problem with Thread Grader?

I actually like Dullboy, he's made me chuckle and laughter is precious to me; and he's into abnormal psychology.

I like Samoth because he is .... well, shit, how many muscle heads are into physics??? I was hoping to bring up the movie What the Bleep and see how hard he and the other science jockeys laughed at it ... (pssst, Samoth, if Dullboy's schtick has been done before it's cool with me because it hasn't been done since I belonged to EF, 'kay???)

So could y'all either agree to disagree and ignore each other? (ala, me and Tiger88 -- okay, he reds me about once a month when he has his period, I red him back, we're even) Or make friends? But don't have a feud ... I think the board is big enough for the both of y'all :qt:

dullboys credit card companies have great repect for him and almost always acknowledge that he is right when he complains.

I think that you'll find yourself to be mistaken on the final point.

Much as we might wish it to be otherwise, none of us here has the right to which you make claim. You may have a case for claiming the right not to continue to receive such emails or PMs after having requested that you not receive them but the TOS lack any sections to prohibit, or even inhibit, the first instance of an envisioned sequence.

As I read through your earlier posts in this thread, I note that you have not deigned to prohibit a repeat correspondence. In fact, you appear to be attempting to engineer a deal with Samoth whereby you promise to report him to the owners of the site apparently in exchange for his continuing to send you messages.

I wish you good fortune in your pursuit of due recompense from your CC company regarding the aforementioned fees.

deigned? who condescended whom? read his unsolicited first contact to me in a private message again.

regardless, dullboy has a feeling that it's inappropriate for a moderator of this site to tell a paying member to shape up or ship out. especially when it's that moderators first contact with the member. but who knows, maybe you're right and dullboy is wrong.

there's a difference between hazing and assault. maybe not a perfect analogy, but you strike dullboy as somewhat intelligent person, so he's certain that you get the point.

regardless of whether one or two of his internet pals decide to vouch for him being a nice fellow, it cannot be argued that a representative of this company sending a member a private message as his first contact the following message isn't downright weird.

keep in mind that dullboy had ZERO interaction with this person prior to receiving this oddball message. is he going to send me naked pictures of himself next?
 
dullboy was under the impression that this person was the moderator of some sort of Science forum on this board. if this isn't the case, then dullboy has overreacted against the board itself, but certainly not against this Samoth person.

regardless, it's still creepy that he would tell dullboy to shape up or ship out. dullboy is entertained by the fact that that he now attempts to frame it as though he was acting benevelontly to save dullboy from the members of this particular forum.
