I love fall...But I am going to miss this as well....SUMMER

Picture attached is a sunset from Malibu, Ca.

i am from newfoundland....we dont get much summer here :FRlol:
maybe 2 months of good weather (by this i mean 25-30 degrees celcius). winter tends to dominate our seasons, and we get insane amounts of snow (600cm this past winter).

I sail.....LOVE THE MARITIME AREA'S OF CANADA! I'd love to visit New Foundland!

Here is a pic of Florida for you BODHIDOGMA- SOME SUNSHINE!

Not a very pretty fall so far. Not a great deal of color since we had a dry summer. Oh well, I hate fall and winter anyway. :P

That looks like fall in GA!!! Looks like the lake I live on!!! AWESOME!

I LOVE IT.....It reminds me of New Brunswick in a lot of ways...VERY PRETTY AREA!

I'd love to do a sail up there...VERY TRICKY/DANGEROUS WATERWAYS up in those parts!

Thanks for sharing!

vixenbabe - your welcome.
i do alot of sea kayaking here, and your right about the waterways. seeing whales everytime i go out makes it worthwhile though.

NOW you are tempting me with the whale watching...Ever been to the states? Cape Cod , Mass. is also nice for whale watching as well. If you have never been- VISIT THERE- You'd love the area I'm sure! Maine is also great- it would remind you of home- VERY rocky shore lines.

I was on a sail in New Brunswick 8 years ago...I got a real education in the region of Saint John's! The currents are UN-REAL!

Sea Kayaking, huh? Sounds like a challenge!

LOVE THE MARITIME REGIONS!

i have never been to that region of the US, but from what u are describing it sounds alot like home, very beautiful.
nfld is the ultimate for people into the outdoors. crazy hiking, sailing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, whale watching....you name it.

CUTE! She could be mine with that brown hair!

The gift of a child..nothing compares!

Thanks for sharing the QUEEN, MOMMA! She does RULE!

Beautiful little girls, ladies.

Vix., you're right about fall.
One of the prettiest times of the year.
I've always wanted to go up to the New England area
or upstate NY, to see the fall colors.
People tell me that it is beautiful. I'll have to get up there
and check it out one day.

Thanks for the pics :)

It's very pretty in my suburb right now...here's a tree on the next block...

Some of its leaves fell off since I took that last week though; it was quite a stormy Saturday with lots of wind and rain.
