Fall allergies

newbiebynature said:
bro i have every allergy known to man...my doctor gave me a 10 page list of what im allergic to

I just get shitty in the spring and fall, and when I'm around dogs or cats. So pretty much half of the year. Zyrtec works for me, but damn, it makes me tired.

Sorry to hear it guys. I guessed I was born blessed since I think I have no allergies at all.

My brother suffers from the usual dust and pollen stuff and has programs of shots from the doctor every once in a while. There are times of the year he refuses to come and visit, too.

Usually doesn't start becoming annoying until about early to mid October, but man...something is in the air.

i dont generally get fall allergies...mostly in the spring time and early summer.....i get colds a lot in the fall and the winter....

I've never been too impressed with claratin. I use patenol eye drops when my allrgies are acting up. When my allergies are acting up I also add in another inhalor to the lineup.

Claratin has worked for me in the past, but I havent used it in about 3 years. What kind of inhaler Raina? If its Flonase, I tried that...the smell of roses made me sneeze even more.

people react differently to different meds
claritin has always worked real well for me
and patanol has never worked for my eyes, ive found otc allergy gtts like vasacon A that work better for me

I read the title as "Fat Allergies" and was surprised to see a few people posting here without a few others leaving right away.

I never had allergy symptoms at all until late this past spring. I suddenly had upper respiratory congestion problems out of nowhere, and it wasn't responding to over the counter meds.

My doctor put me on Allegra-D and that works for me. I was hoping to be off the meds by now, but still need them if I expect to be able to fucking breathe.

My doctor is just treating the symptoms, I need to go back and insist on a full allergy screening.

i get them so bad i have troubles breathin

Fucking Allegra-D is an antihistamine + decongestant, and it uses pseudoephedrine for the decongestant. It's a 12-hour tab. I work nights, and if I fuck up and forget to take one before I leave for work, I have to take it when I get back home which means my sleep is screwed for the night, 'cause it's got 120mg of ephedrine.
