i really had no idea that this quack had me on 5. .

With an undetecable viral load and a high Cd4 count, why don't you consider going off all of them for a while. I did three years ago. I have been positive for 17years. My cd4 count is in the 700s and my viral load has just became detectable a year ago, but has stayed under 5K.

It sounds like your immune system is intact, so why poison your body with the meds. The meds are effective, but you are going to live a long time with HIV and need to start thinking about what type of long term health consequences there are with taking several meds for a long period of time. Get back on the meds when you get sympomatic or when your level decline to the point where it is reccommended. IN MY OPINION. :rainbow:

I had a patient tell me this recently last time I was in the hospital. Sounded like a great idea to him. Oh yea, he was being treated for PCP and Burkitt's lymphoma.

Most of the HIV patients I see in the hospital are all ones who did not comply with their medications. Are you really so concerned about physical features that you would suffer the other nasty effects of HIV?

i do what i do until i know better/ or of a better less intrusive treatment. . after years of being very strict with adherence with all my med - i decided to get treatment for my fat loss in my checks. I had come to the point where i counldn't look people straight in the eye any longer (lack of confidence/self esteem) i never entertained the idea/luxury of spending time/ money/effort and energy on injections to look better, however things change. now after three treatments with a great knowlegeable MD in facial restroration results with this product/procedure have given back to me the engery to bluff my way through another day / the jolt of enthusiasm i had lost. I wouldn't wish this side effect on my worst enemy - i feel blessed to have access to info and feed back. thanks
