F-n Gas prices.

Dude WTF? Didnt we just kill Al Quaida's most potential threat? Gas prices never went down, but soon as that fat fuck from S Korea unsuccessfully launches a few missles, hey Govt raises them back up... It liek the one comedian said " we shouldnt be making life decisions at the pump" like "damn did I eat today?" Fuck the whole Bush Admin.

Thank god someone wants to talk about gas prices. I've been waiting for a thread like this...

Thats right dude!

And for the girl with the dyke hair cut that made a smart comment about the post, she must peddle her ass to and from work if it's not effecting her. I never seen a complaint on here about gas and I sure as hell wouldnt waste my time to just say hey look more complaints about gas. Blah blah blah...

LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Green K for you bro...you fit in here just great, can I use that as my signature bro?

Shit I remember back in the day when 5 dollars bought 1/2 of a tank. Shit in todays world it will buy about 1/16th if that! I was toying with a truck but screw this. I will go back to getting another gas efficient Honda

In sept 99 I could buy gas for 76cents a gallon on post. The cheapest I've ever paid. Deisel used to be 20 cents cheaper a gallon. Fuck now its 15-20 more a gallon. I spend 4-5,000 smackers a month on deisel. Its ridiculous.

My Dego! Quote it.

And Boogs, 5k per month in fuel damnnnn do you get any of that back?

I'm a contractor and own a few pieces of equipment and trucks. When I travel it is wayyyyy more. I buy off road deisel for my equip, which saves 30 cents a gallon. I've thought about putting that shit in my trucks but its a 10k fine and a whole list of bad shit. So I won't be doing that. I get to write it off and thats about it.

when i got my drivers license in like 97 gas was $.83
now its 2.85 on base which is a few cents cheaper than out in town, usually.

The next truck I buy will be diesel. I will put in a tank in the bed and a switch under the steering column. Free red fuel from the rig, get pulled over, (switch) clean fuel, no fines.

Reap what you sow to those bitching about gas prices.

Had too happen some day. I'll just buy a bike and tent out in a co-workers yard M-F and drive home on weekends if I ever have too. The 5 dollars a day to let me stay in their back yard would be hell of a lot cheaper then getting gas! Hell, I'd do chores for them to let me stay in the back yard. Adapt to your changes! Evolution folks, Evolution.

Oh and screw cars, where the hell is our flying magical jet ships that run off of love or something sissy like that?

hmmm. What exactly are YOU going to do about these gas prices? Anything?

What if they pull your fuel filter? Well, you might not have to worry about it. All 6 of my trucks have dot stickers and fuel cells in them. Its just not worth it for me to even try. The best to you my friend, if I could get away with it, I'd prolly do it.

I love diesel cars. new car arrived last week saturday: 180bhp, 300 (yep 300) LbFt Torque... 4 cylinders

and get a load of this

37MPG (tee hee).

On top of that, with those specs, the thing reaches 0-60 in 8 secs and has a max speed of 140mph...

all this BEFORE chip-tuning it at the end of August, where the ponies are to increase to 220, the torque to 355lb/ft and consume is actually supose to decrease (due to increased pressure).

yay for diesel cars!!!

is that 37mpg actual? or advertised? lol

either way, nice.

funny thing is, I dont think most people (general population) pays attention to what kind of gas mileage they are getting or they dont really know how to figure that out. they just kind of bitch about prices and economy and the government (of course all valid complaints) but very few actually change any of their habits so it cant be that much of a burden. or at least it seems to me. still people out there buying huge ass SUV and getting <20mpg, not really shopping around for the cheapest gas in their area, still not using cruise control or other techniques for getting better gas mileage. so that's where the complaints seem somewhat empty. I'm not inferring this about the original poster, but I'm saying it has been my experience with people in general.

thanks.

They advertise 43mpg, I got 37 on the first tank.

then again, I'm a lousy driver when it comes to fuel-economy, except for the cruise control which I use all the time (though I doubt it does any good if you set it at 120mph). I rather trust the car being an economic car to begin with than trust me in driving in a way that will induce more savings.

Some people are getting 50MPG but they drive around at 60mph... could never do that in this Country

Cruise control actually hurts your fuel economy Chuck Borris.

My Harley gets between 40-50 MPG, depending on how hard I ride it. Needless to say the Jeep has sat alot this summer, and most likely will continue to do so. The only time I drive it is to go grocery shopping and kayaking.

It takes about 2 years of high price pain for most people to wake up and smell the gas fumes. Sales of 4 cyl cars are back on the way up, and V8 sales are slowing or stalling. Yea, there always will be people that thumb their noses at gas prices as it isn't relatively a big deal for them and their other expenses.

What really impacts us is higher transportation costs in the commercial area, as it all flows down to everyone. Even the poor slobs that walk or take the bus.

PS
Some Dykes can be Super hot once you get past the flannel.

LMAO!!!

I said this on a different thread and I'll say it again-As a small business owner who's requirements are a lot of driving, this shit has absolutely crippled me.These greedy fucks are ass raping the middle and poor class to no end,and creating one giant poor class.Fucking disgusting.

lol, i put 10 in my tank today.
It bought me 1/2 tank. I remember when my honda was a 11 dollar tank!
Gosh I miss those days

Just bought a toyota solara to drive back and forth from work. Willickers. I'm not used to only filling up every other week. I'm used to filling up twice a week in that damn dodge.

<---------Oh yeah, what do you all think of the assvatar???

An article of commerce or a product that can be used for commerce. In a narrow sense, products traded on an authorized commodity exchange. The types of commodities include agricultural products, metals, petroleum, foreign currencies, and financial instruments and index, to name a few.

Bullshit... Its not supply and demand anymore bro im sick and tired of that excuse. Demand has fallen 11% compared to this time last year yet prices are back up to $3.15 are you serious??? Theres no justification as of right now for whats going on today. I dont want to hear about a threat on our country or any level orange bullshit weve been at War for damn near 5 years, it's our way of life now and weve adjusted as an economy. They Government has control over it in almost every way except crude oil prices, THIS is the Govt that elected to go to a 200 Billion dollar war with our main source of oil correct? So how are they not at fault?

Of all the price hikes most have been from expected or anticipated pricing not actual pricing and oil is our largest resource how can it not be a priority?

Everytime theres a holiday prices are up, threat on America, prices are up, we whipe our ass, prices are up so dont give us terror, crude oil prices, or holidays as an excuse anymore.

Bush backers have NO remorse for those who are making life decisions at the pump everyday living on minimum wage and not eating or feeding their children. They say hey if it dont bother me what the fuck do I care for right? While they drive and fly around all day on our hard earned tax dollars.

If you ask me, anyway you can make a buck without paying taxes, do it!

Demand has been down here in the US since we killed the biggest threat in Iraq, less people are driving due to inital costs of $2.50 plus prices yet we kill Zarkauwi and they dropped .10 f-n cents. But that fat asshole from S Korea launches a few missles unsuccessfully and HEY, time to jack prices up over 3 bills. When Bush tells us what we did good at War we get a .10 cent break, someone unsuccessfully sends a message and we get a .40 cent estimated hike.

The US Govt. regulates, passes, and dismisses all laws concerning fair practices in trade trust me brother if the price of gold had risin to theses levels 3X actual estimation they wouldve stepped in by now!!!

The problem is it doesnt effect them so they dont care, they have more troops to kill and more WMD's to try and find in the wrong Country after 4 years of searching. Oh and that Bin Laden guy thats sort of important is still calling shots from a cave.

I know why Georgie and Daddy havent killed him yet, because the Bin Laden family funds otherwise unsuccessful business here in the US ran by Bush, Cheney, and congressman and that would fuck up their relationship and cash allowances to run their business.

Theres nothing I could do but run for office and at that point I would be a crook too just like my financial backer who schools me into this shit and where our money actually goes.

Im not a hater Im just very anti- govt games, those who built this country would be ashamed of flying into Florida and reading signs in Spanish, our leader throwing dirt on their names everyday by doing what he's doing. I know we cant pull out now but we fought the wrong War and he wont admit his mistakes. F U C K the President, the Govt, Congress, and taxes.

Its such a slap in the face of the govt if you think about it, they pushed for this War with the wrong country for their own reasons. That country controls 63% of our oil (knowing it wouldnt effect the govt) and then the have the nerve to say damn, crude oil prices are too high theres nothing we can do to lower it. I wonder what we can do? Hmmm...

But wait we didnt include the fact that they may not control crude oil prices totally but guess what? They sure as hell make a profit from it.

This $200 billion dollar War will pay for itself after were all done fueling up, hey thats sounds like a plan!

As a country were not as dumb as we may look.

Dude... it's not the US that's increasing demand. There are these other two countries -- China and India that are pushing world demand for oil *far* beyond it's oil-generating output. The higher price for oil is the only thing that's keeping those two countries from changing their oil consumption patterns from "hog-wild" to "hog-ass out-of-this-fucking-world wild".

Thanks for the info I try to stay informed as much as possible and I really just hate Bush and want to blame everything on him and the Govt if you want honesty. Lol.

If it reaches $ 5 per gallon I feel extremely sorry for those who are struggling, this world is hard enough dealing with everything else and stressors. That is out of this world.

Either way, I am pissed...

Oh, I think the prices are horrible and they are definately creating a burden for people who are already under financial stress.

The only silver lining in this cloud is that the higher prices will drive us toward alternative, renewable energy sources like fuel ethanol and biodiesel. That gives us time to get it implemented on a large enough scale to make it practical as well as to get the production costs down with volume. That would help us achieve more reasonable prices long-term while employing americans *and* keeping the money inside the US -- a triple win.

Growth in demand is a main factor.

But so much instability in the Mid East, Africa etc are also causing prices to rocket beyond simple demand.

Every time the Iranian President opens his mouth for example prices go up. And he knows it. Layers and layers to everything these peoiple do.

ethanol and biodeisel would be nice. hydrogen is on the horizon too. check out quantum technologies. not quite affordable but they have toyota prius' outfitted to run on hydrogen and a more efficient battery. hydrogen being able to be produced from many sources could minimize the impact of one source being choked off. here is the problem I'm already seeing: they have hydrogen pumps. basically the car isnt set to convert to hydrogen on demand, so...you become reliant on the pump. the technology is out there to convert on demand from a water source. click here water isnt something that you can charge an arm and a leg for...so already the stage is being set to become reliant on an already converted source (just like gas). this is how companies ensure revenue at our cost. one time purchases and minimal cost to use would be something they would bury deeper than the earth's core. so instead of onboard conversion of water, they decide to do the next best thing, take away the conversion process and charge for the ready made fuel. nice to be a slave of these businesses deciding what technology to give to us.

here is another try at the water fuel cell with emphasis on using it to enhance fuel mpg instead of replace. note this is by Steve Meyer, whose brother Stanley is in the previous clip. Stanley had just signed a deal with the US to run tanks on water...when he died. His brother is treading a bit lighter.
click

just thought I'd share because I don't think people know about alot of this stuff and just go with whatever the media covers as our next readily available and profitable fuel source.

just found this too: MYT Engine
