I ran out of protein so i decided to stop into GNC to pick some up until my shipment came. I soon realized why i quit going in there. The chick behind the counter was trying to sell me all sorts of shit that i didnt need. It started out with the protein i put on the counter, then she asked if i needed a whole extra tub of it, then asked if i wanted NO-Xplode, then offered to sell me a ton of shitty protein bars, then fish oils.......the whole time she's asking to but this stuff, i have already swiped my card....however, she hasnt pushed the button to process it yet. When i noticed she was doing that is what really pissed me off and i said something about it. That kind of shit really aggravates the hell out of me! Made me remember why i order all my shit online now!!!

Online is putting all places out of business. Even the mom and pop sup shops can not compete with the deals you can get on line. Then if you know where to look and who to ask you can get them even cheaper.

What really chaps my ass is that when the gold card time comes around, they mark up the prices throughout the store. So basically you are paying the same price for what you normally would. I do have to say i actually like the Mega Men multi's though. I dont poop them out right away so it doesnt seem like a total waste of money there.

There is one guy who works at my local GNC who has a conscience. He tells me when the owner is trying to push him to sell certain products and why they are garbage. He simply won't even try to sell those products to people. He also called me the other day when 5lb Muscle Milk went on sale from $89 (rip off!!!) to $53 (far more reasonable). So there are the shining rays of light out there. He probably won't be there for long. Unfortunately, every other person that works there is a piece of shit.

I have a guy like that at my local GNC in Estero FL..He always steers me towards products to save me money, and gives me a heads up on sales...I bought a shit load of whey protein at the beginning of the month...couldn't find it online cheaper!

They get kick backs for certain shit they sell, i have a friend who is the manager of one and he told me muscletech gives you like 40-50% royalties when you sell there shit. The last time i went in there this big fat guy was trying to get me to buy all this shit and asked what stuff i took and i said i take food and protein and he said oh well what happens when you hit a platue, you never tried creatine or anything before? I said nope, just add more food. He looked baffled because i probably ate just as much if not more then him and he was a fat piece of shit working at gnc and i wasn't. So no, i don't like them either.
