Eye Question.

I wear a -7.00 contact in my left eye, and a -6.50 in my right (yeah, I'm blind as shit).



I only had one -7.00 left, and it tore today. I have two or three -6.50s left...would it damage my eye or anything to use the -6.50 in the left eye for a week until I get new contacts?

lol. I wear - 5.5 in one eye and - 5.0 in the other...i do it all the time. It probably is not great according to a doctor, but who cares.

Not for that short of time..

My eyes are not exactly the same prescription. .25 off between the left and right. But Dr said the difference is so slight I won't notice it too much and it sucks keeping track of L or R lenses. So I have the same prescription in both eyes and the left is simply not crystal clear but still 20 20



You will strain your eye muscles a bit trying to focus the bad eye though..

Well is the -7.0 etc the prescription or the fit??

Since the fit is kinda close, you may be OK to risk it....BUT I'm wary of risking your eye -- got a eye infection a few years back & I have a hole in my cornea, so I can't ever wear contacts again.... so if they are uncomfortable, don't keep wearing them...

I'm thinking I'll just wear glasses for mostly everything, and put in the contacts for the gym. I can't stand working out in glasses.

No, it would not damage your eye. I used to do that before but now I can´t, right eye is -8.50 and left -7.00 so I can´t see properly if I use them in wrong eye.

as long as there is no astigmatism...
