-Extremely- Painful Lower-back Pumps

I'm about 1.5 weeks into a Test Enanthate/Winstrol cycle and I'm getting progressively more painful back pumps. I get it anytime my back is not relaxed, so pretty much anytime I'm standing. I could barely stand-up after squats and had to cut the workout short. I've seen others have experienced similar problems while 'on' but I didn't find anything saying how to alleviate the problem. Anyone have any luck? I tried eating a ton of bananas for potassium but it didn't do anything. Stretching = nothing. Warm baths = nothing. Anything else?
 
on fina now and getting them reel bad....I had to quit playing hockey it flares up reel bad when i skate

at the gym after every set of squats I stretch on one of the stability balls.......Lie on with your stomach down and kind roll it. Stretches out your lower back. That ball gets me through squats and deads every week, give it a shot it helps me

I've been on test cyp for 4days now and I can feel the pain in my lower back. It's like a throbbing pain.

The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head is to drink Cranberry Juice. A few glasses a day will help them out alot.

I'll bump it for you.
 
Fozy, I'm in the 3rd week of my first cycle (test & d-bol) and have been working the hell out of my legs.
Strength is up and recovery times are dramitically improved.
My lower back is doing EXACTLY what you guys describe, and after I do legs I'm waiting 2 days before I get on the ice, but the lower back is crapping out on me as soon as I get out there...

Is this gonna continue throughout the whole cycle??
I was kind of hoping it would go away after a few weeks.

Even with the compromised back, I've already noticed an improvement in my skating mechanics -- better control on my edges and more explosive strength. I know the added muscle will help my skating throughout the year and that was all I wanted anyway.

Fozy, how long will it take for my back to return to normal. I need to be able to skate my ass off starting Oct 1st (sooner wouldn't hurt). It's not gonna happen if my lower back keeps this shit up. I don't want to bail on my cycle early. If you have any advice I'd sure appreciate it...........

Hmm, the pain I have is more a constant rather than a throbbing pain. I compare it to the way I would feel after doing a heavy set of sumo-deadlifts when I was off-cycle. The difference here is it wont go away unless I lay down. A few minutes after standing up, it returns. Could this still be the kidneys?

I can tough it through muscle pains, but if my kidneys are causing so much pain they must be getting pretty damaged.
 
i dont think its the kidneys.... im in week 7 of fina, and the pump just kills....... it usually happens when doing squats or lower back.... even cardio...
 
I get the same thing, after Hyper Extensions or Heavy Squats.

SO Fina is the culprit, I though my lwr back was weak.

I don't think it's the FINA I've heard of the same thing from an anavar cycle and from a test/deca cycle.
 
I'm getting the same thing from test and d-bol.

There's no injury, and I know it isn't my kidneys.

Just a constant "pump" in the stabilizer muscles in my extreme lower back. If I make those muscles do any work at all, they die out immediately. I used to get the same thing running sprints up hillsides in college -- those lower back muscles would just die out. Since I've gotten on my cycle, my legs are recovering from extreme workouts in no time, but the back isn't.
It's been a week since I did legs -- last night I'm standing over the sink for a little while doing dishes and I can't hold myself up. Lower back muscles are trashed like I just walked out of the gym, and it's been a friggen week.

Maybe I should lift even heavier and get the girlfriend to come over and clean up the place.
 
I get the same thing. I dont think its the kidneys. I can tell the difference between and kidney pain and a lower back pump. Kind of a good hurt though huh?

Your actually in a good position. D-ball did the same for me bad lowerback pumps especially when I was skating. Once i got off the dball my back went back to normal and I was still running sus and eq. So just end the dball and you should be good

i dont play competively anymore im well out of school. I was clean when i skated in college but would never have been able to go consistabtly with my back like this ( fina)

dball is your problem once your off that your good to go, at least hats how it worked for me
 
It is until I have to get out onto the ice and do some sprints. I'm in my usual crappy pre-season condition, but the low back is dying out 10 times faster than it should.

wasn't a problem before I got "on"

If anyone here knows how to deal with this, please advise
 
its the d ball brotha

trust me on this i went through the same thing...nothing untill i skated or did squats or deads

That's awesome news. I've got 3 more weeks of D-bol planned -- perfect timing to be done with the d-bol by Oct 1 and continue the test for a few weeks after.

There was a guy in one thread a while back who warned me that my low back may get a little sore from carrying a little extra weight while on D-bol, but I got the impression it wouldn't happen until the end of the cycle. I don't know if any of this helps you guys on Fina -- hope it does.

In the meantime, I am SO glad to hear this.
Rest of the leg days this month are gonna be heavy as hell.
You guys weren't f**kin around when you talk about "those awesome d-bol pumps"
 
So assuming it wasn't my kidneys giving me the problem, would you say it is the Winstrol or the Test? I'm not running anything else currently (besides sups and anti-est).

500mg Test Enan/week
50mg Winny EOD

That one thing about this board I think is a big flaw, everyone thinks your kidneys are where your lower back is, no, they are higher about4 fist spaces higher than your lower back. I had my doctor actually touch my back to show me where it would hurt if I had kidney pain and he touched my mid to upper back area. He also said in order to get to your ribs you must go through the ribs first. Also if you have any kind of kidney problem, you have no appetite, piss very dark fluid and feel sick. So that how you can tell lower back pain from kidney pain/stress.
 
Im only on fina right now and I get the most extreme headache ever when Im doing a set of 20 rep squats. Its in the back of my head, where my head connects to my spinal column.
 
I sincerely doubt it is pain from being "pumped", I'd buy the kidney theory first.
