With the new wave of super-conductors being
used in computing today 40-50 parallel chips placed
together for a synergistic effect(Similiar to the Cray 1-YMCP,
except it has 50,000 but less advanced), would crack
a 128-bit randomized electronic encryption program
quite easily.
The 256-bit PGP program is now out. I suggest you
buy it ASAP.

There is NOTHING worse than having an insecure
communications line.

Uhmm... no. IMHO you're a guru when it comes to biochem, but what u posted up there is, well, wrong at best. (I almost have an MS in Computer Engineering, I know these things, as may sk* :)).

Okay, forgive me, but this question isn't as stupid as it sounds. I buy my toys in TJ and so don't really understand how these web transactions work. I don't understand why someone would hack your mailbox. Why would someone want to pose as you? That's some truly weird shit. Wouldn't your real friends and clients know it was a scam if, for example, this guy wanted them to send money to someone other than you?

I'm not a source, so there is no "clients" but being a mod gives me trust. Somebody could get very large fronts with may account, or get people to send him money very easily due to this trust. The good thing is that I think that the guy doing it (I have an idea) is in Yugoslavia, hopefully people would have remembered I was in Canada. At least nobody has e-mailed me now to say "I" scammed them. I think I cought this just in time.

Organon,

Ahh, okay, now I understand. Thanks. Learn something new everyday. Last week, in my first post ever to this board, I listed the actual names of my favorite graneros in TJ. Learned something there, too, when a helpful Mod contacted me.

Password Tips

You see there are simple programs that you can DL off the internet that crack password. The most common ones work by trying over and over again, common password phrases. They use every word in the dictionary. Thats why people say to put a number in there so it no longer is a word. Group words together that form new words, or make random letters that dont make since. If your email site allows more than letters and number characters: Use stars to fool would be hackers like *********

It must be late. You all have just confused the shit out of me.

nautica

I will just use my AOL email;)

OC, was your password relatively simple? Something which could've been guessed? I'd recommend that everyone get a long password, mixed with numbers.

"iscream4icecreamuscream4icecream" - let's see anyone brute force attack that :)
