just curious, I've always been a pyro at heart, making bombs and stuff. Dry ice made the best noise, never fucked with home made c4 or nitro glycerine or anything even though it would have been cool.. very unstable though, I woulda fucked myself up I'm sure.
 
i made some homemade gunpowder about 10 years ago out of potassium nitrate and icing sugar, it was fun...unitl the motherload caught a spark and it got ugly pretty fast...

as for homemade stuff....why? its not a terribly hard thing to do, but what are you going to do with it?

it can be as easy as glycerine and nitric acid (wouldnt suggest it) or a high nitrate fertilizer, or if you want to get techy you can probably dig up a recipe for some plastic explosive

personally i favour the idea of keeping my hands on the ends of my arms, so im not too keen on getting near anything like that. making gunpowder for fireworks was a lot of fun, though :D
 
You will hurt yourself. Bad. You like hurt? Talk to Mr. Noble, if he doesnt mind, about burns. Not how he got there, but a more sure way of getting there does not exist.

M80s were big when I was growing up. We used to blow things up inside drainage culverts.

The sound it made was sort of like the sound the pipe bombs made in the first Terminator movie when Reese was throwing them out of the truck while in the tunnel.
 
pipe bomb dude. Get the shortest length of 4" pipe and two caps. Epoxy a rock to the inside of one of the caps. Using pipe sealer, a vise, and some big-ass pliers, screw that cap onto the pipe. Then find a baby food jar that just fits in there. Fill with vinegar. Carefully seal it and put it in the pipe. Then pour baking soda in there to fill it to about 2/3. Screw the other cap on, and turn it over. Take it straight to the woods. Turn it back over and slam it down on something hard. Throw that fucker as far as you can and run as fast as you can in the other direction.

back in the day when i was a lifegaurd we use to mix some chemical with something else(i am totally blank) and put it in a 2liter next thing you know kaboom the 2liter couldnt hold the pressure and explodes

i used to do the same thing,we would put some chlorine in a 2 liter bottle add some soda cap shake and throw the pressure builds so fast the bottle explodes this was all fun and games untill one day when the mixture inside erupted before my friend coulod get the top on and caused 2-3rd degree chemical burns all over his body not pretty he needed skin grafs to correct
chlorine is some serious shit

I used to be a pretty big pyro when I was younger. It was all fun and games at first. Homemade c4 was a blast, tennis ball bombs, pipe bombs, CO2 cartridge bombs, nitro, homemade grenades, napalm, all sorts of fun things. But then my bomb making buddy and I got bored and decided to move on to two-stage chem bombs. One thing led to another and after an accidental spill we were both blinded for about 15 minutes and I had a piece of the steel casing embedded in my right hand. We had to use a vise grips to twist it back out of the bone. I then spurted blood everywhere and ended up with several stitches and shit. That's right about when I decided to chill on the explosives.

that's interesting. do you just let the styrofoam dissolve in the gasoline and then light it? because styrofoam disintegrates almost on contact with the gas



frozen oj and gas work for napalm, but not in the ratio on a certain movie

i wouldnt just lite it because the fumes from the gas might still explode and well could be a problem..

i would use something else to light it so you could stay away at a safe distance...

to fill a 1 gallon container with the stuff takes an insane amount of foam but i first tried this around christmas time (Happy Holidays!) when there was an abundance of all this stuff

but im all growns up now

I guess frozen oj and gas mixed together and when it lands on something it will stick and burn for a few seconds in a kind of slushy sludge state before it becomes liquid again.

How to make Napalm by the

- Pour some gas into an old bowl, or some kind of container.

- Get some styrofoam and put it in the gas, until the gas won't
eat anymore. You should have a sticky syrup.

- Put it on the end of something (don't touch it!!). The unused
stuff lasts a long time.
 
How to make a fertilizer bomb

Ingredients:

- Newspaper
- Fertilizer (the chemical kind, GREEN THUMB or ORCHO)
- Cotton
- Diesel fuel

Make a pouch out of the newspaper and put some fertilizer in it.
Then put cotton on top. Soak the cotton with fuel. Then light and
run like you have never ran before! This blows up 500 square feet
so don't do it in an alley!!

- A tennis ball
- A nice sharp knife
- Duct tape

Break a ton of matchheads off. Then cut a SMALL hole in the tennis
ball. Stuff all of the matchheads into the ball, until you can't
fit any more in. Then tape over it with duct tape. Make sure it is
real nice and tight! Then, when you see a geek walking down the
street, give it a good throw. He will have a blast!

Yup, they are fun, but it takes a lot of matches and a lot of time cutting them. With the time put into it, you would think it would be an awesome bomb, but really, it's not much better than a good firecracker.

Yeah, after the first one we decided to add gun powder. So my bud and I sat in my dad's garage for about 30 minutes pulling apart 22 bullets to get gun powder since we didn't have any other available source at the time. It definitely helped, but still wasn't as good as others we made.

I used to carry a coffee can filled with napalm in my trunk in high school. You never know when you might need it. Heh heh heh. Fucking idiot kid I was. Add some extra oxidizing agents to it and you can have some real fun.

Any of all ever played with thermite? Now that is some cool ass shit.

heres a very easy one for you BS peoples to learn because i know you loving playing with those giegh ass sparklers.

you take a bundle of sparklers and wrap em extremely tightwith duct tape, the tighter the better. thats what makes things explode better. you wrap that shit real tight. and you leave just one sticking out. step two, light sparkler. step 3 depends on how stupid you are.

The best stuff is already premade for you.

You never know what could happen------last year on the 4th my close friend who is a pryrotech, and who also trained me when I got my license, blew his right hand off. The detonation wire was disconnected, but was still holding enough charge to do the trick.

Leave it to the proferssionals, sooner or later ur gonna do somethin dumb

like screw on ur pipe bomb cap and not see that milimeter wide single piece of
black powder hiding in the threads, or

use a screwdriver to hollow out your tnt instead of a wood object

that's right, let us professionals do it and let us get blown up for your entertainment

Tin foil wrapped into skinny long peices.

Mix inside a two-liter, put cap on, shake, throw!

The pressure makes a really fuckin loud explosion. I've seen two liters get like 3-4 feet wide before they blow
 
i use to make homemade smoke bombs out of sugar and stuff called salt peter, i believe its real name is potasium nitrate. They are a HELL of alot better than anything you will buy at a firework stand.
