expiration date - cypoinate

I have a friend that has a bottle of Steris Cypoinate and the expiration date is Feb. 1996. It has never been opened and has been in a dark and cool place for years. Contents appear normal and seal has never been broken. Is this stuff any good or worth trying?

If the expiration date has expired, I wouldn't suggest using it.


that's my take on it, expiration date is there for a reason.

Expiration dates are conservative but your cypionate is appox 8 years old! Toss it out.

Yeah that's what I told him but you know how it is when you have something like that sitting around and you want to take it.
