There's a few ideas that Milo's and a few other pro's are kicking around over at prof. muscle. They are just shooting it on back and leg days to hopefully prevent ever becoming diabetic. If I were to start it again, I would follow that approach, as the stuff does scare me.
I would recommend your husband research it and research it well. It's one of those things that could kill you quickly if you don't know what you are doing. After he does his research and if he still wants to give it a go, I would invest in a glucose meter. It's worth the peace of mind and safety.
Slin on it's own is not something I would recommend. I prefer it with gh but at least use it with a cycle. Slin on it's own can make you look puffy and very watery looking. It's not a look I liked at all, and I doubt anyone would. A strong dose of test seems to offset this (for me at least). But if your diet was really in check and you picked your carbs and the amounts wisely, I'm sure you could work around it. Although that is something I would leave for experienced vets and pros to do, not someone doing their first run.
I would never recommend slin for a woman. I know a very hard core female bodybuilder who has done a few cycles of it, but I don't know many woman who would ever want to look like her. I'm sure her massive winny and test (yes test) cycles are the reason for her deformed face and not slin, but I still don't see why a woman would want to mess with this stuff. And as Bluetwisted put, unless you want to compete on a high level, there's really no need for a man to take it either. I played with it and won't again. That's just my opinion.
