exercises for glutes?

firming buttocks

lunges, stiff legged deadlifts, butt blaster, will help firm your girlfriends butt, along with diet and cardio (elliptical or recumbent bike). if she has big hips i would stay away from leg presses and squats with heavy weight. i have big hip and leg disease so i stay away from leg presses and heavy squats because my hips just get bigger. i do a lot of reps with low weight for all the exercises in the first line. it tightens and tones the butt and legs.
 
My best attack is the eliptical trainer at the highest incline and then on leg day doing lunges with the smith machine, squats and stiff legged deadlifts.....my ass has changed back to the ballerina bootie that i had a few years ago.
 
After doing squats I find doing lunges with a barbell behind my neck effective for the glutes. I find that by steping forward a long way to each side, rather than straight in front, is more effective.
