Excellent reading on IGF1-Lr3

great post . i see that igf local effect is what people are hoping for .
the study where animals were injected with igf and it first went to their intestines and cardiac muscle makes sense becuase they dont work out and are not repairing muscle so the igf just drifted around.

so lifting heavey can cuase the muscles to gain extra sensitivity and might suck up the igf as needed to help repair the muscles and keep it from driftinga round into the internal organs.

After reading his info - I think I am going to take his advice and run it ONLY on training days in a muscle worked - immedietly post workout. Luckily I live 500 yards from my gym so I dont need to take it with me. I will load it up and have it erady for when I return home.

I am going to start in about a week using this protocol. This is a good example of teaching an old dog new tricks.

True the guy has 13 years of research on IGF. It's funny how this thread ended up being emailed or pm'd to me like 15 times. It's cool having buddies that are interested in everyone knowing what they're doing.

I like Grunt's protocol, mainly because it makes sense and because it is very moderate.

I have read pretty much everything he has ever posted on several different boards
 
This may be news to some, but not to me. The debate has been raging at getlr3.com
I do not know Grunt76 personally and it does seem that he has done some homework. BUT... He has been debated by others, MaxRep (a competing BB) and he has been accused of copy/pasting and being full of crap by N4cer ( one of the mods there)
Does Grunt have your best interests in mind. Probably, he has been very helpful to those who have asked. I'm just saying don't jump on his bandwagon. There are other people out there who have done just as much research and have gym science backing them up who disagree with his protocol.
 
The thing I don't get about e3rd day injects is that I thought you were supposed to hit the muscle you just worked for optimal results. If you're hitting the lagging muscle every 3rd day, aren't you hitting a muscle that hasn't been worked that day; and thus, a muscle that is not prime to recieve igf? Aren't the best results when hitting the muscle immediately after a workout? Everything else makes sense except this. And if something is off on this guy's theory, what's to say everything else isn't off too?
 
I recently tore some muscles in my chest & bicep would this stuff be good to use to reduce my recovery time? It's been 3 weeks since this happened.
 
Is all the scare about carbs really that bad? What are those key points?

Also, how hard it it to mix, any procedure outline? From scratch like when you first get it....I wish I had search option!
