Thanks bud. Last summer I ran a test/eq/var cycle. Loved it. I'm starting to do some serious research in NPP. I know Bruce is a big fan of it.

My back used to be stubborn, but then I realized what's entailed in really blasting the shit out of it. It sucks. It's just like legs. Unless you leave the gym nauseated and gasping for air you haven't done it right. But you are dead on with the exercises. Just keep the weights HEAVY, and reps in the 6-8 range on your top sets. Just stick with the basics like you said. I'd have to say BB rows and one arm DB rows are king, although I love me some T-bar rows too. Just make sure you squeeze your lats on the DB rows. With BB rows as long as you're stretching at the bottom and pulling the weight into your gut your back can't help but grow. The only cable movements worth doing are low rows and pulldowns. I have come to really appreciate heavy behind the neck pulldowns (stole that secret from Kevin Levrone). They target the area of interest much more than front pulldowns, and after you get used to them you shold be able to pull just about as much weight as you're accustomed to with fronts. Also reverse grip pulldowns are great too. If you do those save them till the end, they fry your biceps.

Oh and btw, I found a very old pic of me. I don't even remember when it was, but I think I was 225-230 or so, all natty. I'm 280 now, and among other things, my chest has come a long way from the poor excuse it is in this pic.
