ever seen the redwoods before?

favorite woodsy thing in america.
i live like 80 air miles from them but it's a bitch to
get there and ends up being a 200 mile drive.
but i know this dirt road that snakes for about 20 miles
thru some massive trees it's fuggin sick
took my folks there this wknd.

I was supposed to go, but never got around to it. I hear it is really beautiful though. I hope to check it out one day.
 
I cant even wrap my mind around the idea of the trees that are that big. I bet it is a beautiful site to see....do post pics please.
 
I drove through the Redwood National Forest one time.

Thing is, we were in a 15-passenger Econoline E-350, with a 6x12 U-Haul. Going up wasn't bad. Coming down the other side, the brakes failed almost as soon as we began the descent. Apparently hydraulic fluid boils at a lower temperature at that altitude. Had to ride all the way down on in 1st gear with the emergency brake, pulling over whenever there was a runoff area to let the other traffic pass. Brakes came back as soon as we got to the bottom.
