Ever just collapse?

Just curious... it's never happened to me, but has anyone here ever just collapsed (literally, not just like whew exhausted tired, I wanna sleep I mean physically their body couldn't take it anymore and they passed out) from constant training and forcing yourself to work harder?

I wanna see if I can make that happen, how much my body can endurce in terms of physical and mental pain (struggling on, and telling myself to continue no matter how battered and bruised my body is)...

Hmm, just curious... I'm a fanatic, I have to push my body to the limits...

I'm just an idiot who wants to see how much I can take, and I figure I'll try it out, haha... My own physical fitness test, a lil more violent than others...

Hope you have someone monitor you and call 911 if needed, no telling when or if your gonna wake back up.

BRO!

At college, I was REALLY striving to get into bodybuilders shape (ie 5-6% bf with high amounts of muscle)...I actually got down to 7% and I was busting my ass in the gym...skipping classes, eating PERFECTLY, going to the gym in the morning for cardio, hitting cardio again at the afternoon and weights in the evening...I was juicing hard and eating TONS....I got to about 210 with 7% and very lean, very muscular....but I would start feeling really naseaus in the gym....my dorm was right across the street....in the elevator to my hall I would be light headed and by the time I got to my room I was about to lose it....I would go to my shower and just sit down on the floor and let the water run down over me. My girlfriend at the time walked in once and started FREAKING out...she was crying and damn near ready to call the police until I told her I was fine and that it was a ritual. I have never been near the point where I was ready to call the police or scared for myself...more or less I just felt sick to my stomach and it was nothing that laying down on the bed and closing my eyes for 5 minutes didn't solve. After 10 minutes I felt like a champ.

usually this only occurs if I haven't worked out for a while and suddenly I go hard as hell or if I'm really low on carbs and totally bust my ass in the gym. It's not a frequent thing.

Just saying I've been there...I don't push myself to get there, I just sometimes get there....It never happens in the gym, it's usually when I get back to my room or apartment that I start thinking "holy shit I feel sick as a bitch"

I passed out before but this was before I even took steroids and when I got to the hospital they did all kind of shit and found nothing but considering they also gave me a drug test which I passed did'nt make me feel to assure of there test results anyways considering I had smoked about 2 hours prior and abou every day before that for fuckin years..

Ya, on tv last night there was a video of a guy trying to squat 785 pounds. He broke his knee and collapsed. Looked horrible. Is that your goal?

It would be very hard to make yourself pass out. There is no point to going that far. Arnold himself (king of brutal training) says he has never passed out from training. He has however puked, which I think is a god enough badge of honor for a lifter (I have never done it but I have come close).

So why not shoot for puking? That's probably a good sign from your body that you should stop.

Why doesn't that surprise me... (you crazy bastard) :D

I did REALLY heavy curls once though and felt a tick, and water spurt up my neck, dropped the bell, and passed out... couldn't lift for a while without that being there... it scared me a little, but I just kept going..

I dunno.. I'd train for longevity dude...

lol...

It ain't a good thing though...lol...

It just shows your stupidity, or sheer determination. I prefer to believe the latter.

Like jogging in a sweatsuit in the dead heat of summer with improper nutrition and no water. Now that's dedication.

Trust someone who collapsed and hallucinated from severe dehydration in his younger street-hockey-playing days, it is NOT A GOOD THING.

On the other hand, the first time I ever did deadlifts, I ended up being so physically and mentally exhausted after I got home that I could barely stand, and nothing on this earth could keep my eyes open. I sat down to relax and woke up a few hours later feeling like a.. very, very sore bishonen.

If that's what you're shooting for, then why not, but I doubt you're going to get anywhere close doing situps.
