well, his girl put a down payment of 12k and my brother was paying everything else every month
so once he dished out about 5-6k on it, he decided just now to sell it... he even asked her if shes gonna be sad about it, but he was gonna do it anyway cause she uses my bros car most of the time
hmmm... this is just hearsay- but i would think that she did...velvett said:Uh, they bought that car together.
Sounds like a crazy situation - if I put down 12k and the boyfriend put down half of that amount in payments I'd want my portion of $$$ after the sale of the car.
What did she do steal the money?

She had just graduated college and I was paying for everything at that point. Then we started putting our money together. She was looking for a car, I called her up one night and said "Guess what? You`re the proud owner of a new Honda Accord." She was so happy.
I wonder what ever happened to her? Oh yeah, I married her.
sconoscuito said:basically my brother kept all the money so far
but this girls been living off my bro for 2 years now, but the problem is that shes a good physical therapist and my brother needs her around, and they have a small business together... she runs things and my brother serves as an investor i guess
In other words shes more like a maid with benefits than a girlfriend
the decision he made was that once he breaks up he would give her 20k for all her services for 2 years and make sure she has nothing on him just in case she'll want some more cash through lawsuits
for 2 years though from what I've seen is that she's very smart and thats why my brother is afraid to just break up like that. She lied to him cause she still has a husband but I guess they are unofficially apart.
She has big demands, her only purses and wallets that I've seen were luis vuiton stuff, she likes all the classy clothes and asked my brother for a brand new jaguar.
It's a messed up world we live in I guess and as it seems some girls out there will do anything for the money.
the reason for the breakup is that when my mom talked to her she accidently called my brother a lost little kid, in other words dumb and cant do much. so my mom asked her howd she all of a sudden fell in love with a guy like this... after no clear response it was obvius that shes in it for the money
who knows though maybe shes just doing this for "financial security" and she would always be loyal to my brother but I very much doubt so

There's a difference between helping someone out and buying affection (which incidentally a lot of people do but without actually intending to do so - they just want to make you happy and that's a easy sure fire way to do so).
(That's also not to say that all lavish gift are to buy affection - just wanna make that clear.)
