This is a rather depressing article about some of the effects of long term steroid abuse. Now it can be pointed out that some of the medical problems these guys have and have died from are not a direct consequence of steroids, but you can definitely attribute them to the lifestyle. I hope that this make some of you see why staying on all year long is a bad idea. I can stand to see that post continually pop up all the time. Some people need to get a clue... That there are consequences to abuse. If you ever expect to live a healthy long life than use responsibly not abuse irresponsibly. It gives those of us how know what we are doing a bad rap. Especially you younger guys who think you are going to live forever.

LOL

Here we go again. These people are using more than just JUICE!!

If you juice and dospeed, alcohol, pain killers,x, and TOO MUCH JUICE, plus eating all the poison the rest of america eats(fast food) you are asking for trouble. Plus being on the road 300+ days a year must take stress on the body.

Again we have the few assholes fuck it up for the majority and communitst like propaganda.

Out of all the steriod users in pro sports, hollywood, modeling and the general public this is the best they can come up with? Nothing but statistics that average out. Take all the americans that die before 40 from heart attacks, some in seemingly perect health, shit happens!

how bout all those bbs from the 70s most of them are still alive

The hormone boogey man...

is getting a lot of media these days. I hope this thing doesn't gain too much more momentum, wouldn't want them requiring some kind of license to buy finaplix. Obviously the guys they are mentioning were abusing what they were using to the extreme. If you injest enough asprin at one time that will kill you too. I especially was annoyed by the part mentioning the pain killer abuse and the way they linked it to AS. People get addicted to OTC pain killers all the time but I have never heard about a physical addiction to AS, for some their may be a mental addiction to their results but I've never heard of an AS junkie in the stricter sense. Anyway not much to contribute here I just read the article, it was linked on msn.com, so I thought I'd sound off on it.

Also perhaps to be complete when listing the "steriod users" that died prematurely they should include any that died in car wrecks or plane crashes, etc. I mean why not be exhaustive when insinuating a steroid connection to cause of death when you include other random things like suicide?
