it sounds like proscar would inhibit EQ gains prety harshly as compared to EQ w/o gains....

EQ's gains are mediated by a 5-alpha reductase component for a very, very small percentage. So Proscar would have little effect at all, on gains, or on hair loss.

Neither really. The only inherent danger to this practice is that EQ does not retain a lot of water. The increased level of blood cells without a consequent increase in water levels can cause thickening of blood..
