EQ 400 question + UV Question + thanks

Anyone here have experience brewing EQ 400? I followed the normal procedures & displaced the oil with EQ. I didn't put in BB because it is not a necessity but after thinking about it this brew may be a bit thick due to the EQ...perhaps I should have put in some BB to thin it out. Just curious what other think/have done. On another note I upped the BA to 4% (1ml of BA / 25ML total).

Everything else came out perfect – nice golden color. And my lab results were 99%+ pure. Bitchin.

Also, anyone here have any experience with UV lights for sterilization purposes? I have been researching the topic and I have found one system that will sterilize gear while it is in the vial. Typically UV will not penetrate glass to a significant degree (it is mainly used for topical sterilization). On another note I have seen water purification systems that use UV - I am wondering how the hell they can purify water effectively.

Also - props to Radar for helping me out with my account. It feels good to be back.

you don't need the uv light anyways bro, the ba sterilizes it for you. and yes, you should have went with the BB, it makes the oil disperse more easily in the depot and makes the oil much thinner, i go 3%ba, 15%bb on eq, at 400mg/ml i would likely have went 17%bb
