Ephedrine substitutes

If one could not get actual ephedrine is psuedo-ephedrin a good substitute? Some nasal decongestion tablets contain 60-120mg per tablet. Mix this with 200mg caffeine & 300mg with aspirin - do you have a good ECA replacement?

Ma Haung, red ginsinge..etc. All are very similar, yet I believe that only ephedrine will act as a mild anti-catabolic....Clen is much better.
