Some people who have taken ephedrine based products achieve their goals without experiencing any adverse health effects. Others aren't so lucky.
When your body is under stress, it release a hormone called norepinephrine (NE). You have likely experienced this if you have ever been really scared or startled at some time. Your skin flushes, your heart races, your breathing increases, your pulse goes up and your blood pressure may also go up. But this only lasts for a few minutes and then your body returns to normal. What ephedrine does is it shorts-out this process and prevents your body from returning to its normal state. It keeps your NE hormone levels in constant stimulation and helps in the breakdown of fat. This is where the problems, if any, arise.
If you experience any problems such as headaches, dizziness, heart palpitations, rapid or decreased heart rate, or a raise in your blood pressure then you should stop taking ephedrine.
If you are consuming any products containing tannins such as green tea then the absorption rate of the ephedrine may be affected. Although sold in combination with caffeine, caffeine will increase the chances of any possible side effects.
Concentrate on establishing a healthy diet for yourself in combination with a strict workout program if your goal is to lose body fat before you consider turning towards any thermogenic products. Also, if you were not aware of any of the above information then you should not have been taking the ephedrine. Always research the products and supplements you wish to use
before you purchase them and definitely before you use them so that you can understand what they do and how they are going to interact with your body.
