Ephedra and Side Effects

Hey guys.....
I had a few concerns and if anyone could advise, it'd be much appreciated! I've been taking an ECA Stack for about 4 months now, in addition to 1 hour at the gym a day and dieting. Besides major weight loss, I've developed anxiety and when I drink, a rash similar to an allergic reaction on my back and arms. Obviously, this is not healthy for me so I have reduced my dosage. Does anyone have any other advice? Within the 4 months, I have stopped twice for a week. Should I continue to diet heavily or could I go easy on it?
Thanks so much! :)

Curious... clarify what you are drinking when you develop this rash. Water, soda, beer, hard liquor, wine, egg whites? :) I don't want to rule out your diet as the possible cause for this rash b/c I don't know what you're eating.

Also wondering what you're doing for that hour a day at the gym ... i.e. safe to assume more that just cardio ? :)

My advice is to cycle on and off EC stack every two weeks. You can use Cardio Breeze as the alternative, which should work very well for you, while your body gets a rest from the EC.

The technical explantion regarding why Cardio Breeze is successful ... "CB is completely different. Its not reliant on beta-agonism. With ephedrine there is severe down regulation of the beta adrenoceptor, with the removal of ephedrine natural stimulus is "muted" because of that down regulation. Since CB is not reliant on beta-agonism for its effects it is an effective taper or replacement when coming off ephedrine."

:) In short, since Cardio Breeze doesn't use the same mechanism as ephedrine it is an effective replacement.

Thanks for the reply. I develop the rash- mostly red splotchy all over my back and arms- it's so gross- when I drink liquor. Not dark liquor- clear like Tequila. I'm not sure why or how I've developed this because I'm not allergic to anything and never get rashes. The only thing I could come up with is perhaps- doing my hour of cardio from 8-9PM then shower blah blah and I'm drinking by 10:30PM. Is that too soon after doing an hour of cardio?
The hour at the gym is always 60 min on the ellipitical plus weight/machines 3x a week.
So as far as the ECA stack, is the high dosage perhaps the reason for why I've developed such anxiety lately. I think I even had somewhat of a panic attack the other day. What should I cut back on mostly?
One last question- since I do an hour of cardio a day, what percentage of my diet should be carbohydrates? Any sort of diet plan suggestion would be SO APPRECIATED!
Again, thanks so much for your advice! Karma!

You're welcome :) Question, have you been over to the Women's Forum? There is tons of helpful info & people over there to help you specifically with your goals, with many sample diets, programs etc. -
Anyway, my base diet is 40P/30C/30F. I would suggest your diet focus on (1) your goals and (2) how your body responds to different foods (i.e. I KNOW if I eat oatmeal I will bloat, but I'm fine with Brown rice). You need to find what works for you if what I'm sayin' ... and I know nothing really about what you're eating etc.

You say you don't have any allergies but there is some obvious allergic reactions going on here, esp. when your CNS is so stimulated (from the E) your natural defenses fail, causing this rashy deal. Also, one of the mechanisms affected in your CNS (from the E) is the same one that causes aggression and making you prone to anxiety issues.

I am not a Doctor but it is no stretch saying that allergies are impossible to explain. I am going to pass on something Ulter told me. Allergists can only treat symptoms and give shot. An allergic reaction is what happens when your body encounters something it can't identify. No one know why one body can identify shell fish for instance while another body can't. All they can do is tell you what causes the reaction, and give you something to stop the histamine. But they don't know why your body does that.

SO, Given the above, IMO, you shouldn't be anywhere near ephedra. Adrenals (the receptors that control your adrenalin) fire up allergies and vice versa. You should try Cardio Breeze or Thermorexin.
