entering a nat contest, will 1-AD be good in my contest prep

Im entering a natural contest on March 29th and i wanna use 1-AD as part of my prep. My question is will 1-AD still be legal by then and two should i plan for the next highest weight class as i usually add 15 pounds give or take on this stuff.
