Enlarged Heart - Please help

I work in cardio vascular crital care medicine, and the best advice that I could give would be to never fuck around with AAS again if your condition is that advanced. I think the posts above pretty well explain the ejection fraction being that it consits of the percentage of blood that the left ventricle pumps out. You can actually go down too 45% without being extremely concerned, but 29% is not desirable and much lower than that becomes incompatible with life. this number is going to most likley be lower now because you have some permanant damage to your heart tissue. As for anymore cycles, you have to remember that the AAS that cause increased blood pressures secondary to the water retention will definately be a increased risk for anyone with a prior cardiac history such as yourself.

Good luck Bro

In addition to what joeyz123 and embolicintent said, nobody with any family history or personal history of coronary artery disease should use AS due to the elevated cholesterol as well as high BP. A heart attack in your 20's or 30's is a possibility.

My cycles were usaully 12 weeks or less in length. Most of them were 8 weeks. I did not overdue it on any of the steroids and kept them all with reasonable ranges (i.e. I did not take 100mg of Dbol to get big faster). Something to keep in mind for all the new guys/gals out there wanting to use this stuff. Atleast keep this in mind and get in checked out as your cycles go in length. Good luck to all out there.

Early this year, I was diagnosed with something called Cardiomyopathy. It is an enlargement of the heart, specifically the left ventricle. I have a twin brother that does not use AS and he is fine. I have never used GH, only test, winny, dbol, deca, and so on... I have been using for 2 years, 4 cycles total. I had a heart attack last Sunday and it was not pretty. Can anybody tell me with confidence that AS does not cause the heart to grow? I want to eliminate AS as the cause of my problems. Anybody with knowledge of the heart would know something called Injection Fraction, and mine has gone down to 27%. It was 49% only 4 months ago. Please please help. The doctors that I have don't seem to have an answer for me.

It appears that it might be possible that some of us are prone to this condition when taking AS. 6 years ago, while I was taking mild dosages of As, I began experiencing dizziness, numbing in the arm and a myriad of other strange bodily symptoms. I had all kind of tests done, nothing could be found. I went to a cardiologist who said that I had mild cardiomyopathy which he blamed on the steroids. He said the disease was not causing the other symptoms though. I was under a lot of stress at that time and maybe that what caused dizziness, etc. I did my own research and talked to other doctors many of which did not think the cardiac damage was due to the steroids.

I HAVE BEEN ON A CYCLE NOW OF 250 MGS. SUSTENON FOR ABOUT 14 WEEKS NOW. LAST NIGHT I HAD TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY CENTER AT THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK. I WOKE UP GASPING FOR BREATH AND MY HEART WAS FLUTTERING IS THE BEST WAY I CAN DESCRIBE IT. I WAS REALEASED ABOUT 5 HOURS AGO. AT FIRST THEY DREW BLOOD AND CAME BACK AND TOLD ME THAT MY CPK LEVELS WERE EXTREMELY HIGH INDICATING POSSIBLE HEART MUSCLE DAMAGE. THIS MORNING THE DOCTOR RULED THAT OUT, SAYING THE CPK LEVELS WERE PROBABLY DUE TO MUSCLE DAMAGE FROM WEIGHT LIFTING BECAUSE OTHER ENZYME LEVELS WERE NORMAL. THEY GAME ME A STRESS TEST AND ECHOCARDIOGRAM. I AM AWAITING THE RESULTS AND I WILL LET ALL KNOW. THIS SUX.

Man Im sorry to hear that. It sux so bad to see people trying to be their best get slapped with something that could affect their futures. I wish you both the best.

That's terrible, I'm very sorry to hear that my friend. I hope the best for you, I didn't catch your age? Well, take care.

I really appreciate the support. It's nice to know that other people care. You don't get that feeling in a hospital. I am 37.

i thought cardiomegaly meant an abnormally large heart? oh well, my Med. Term teacher sucked, best of luck bro, i wish you the best :)

I feel for you bro, but if you don't already know that this is a risk we all choose to take then you shouldn't be taking any AAS.

Heart problems is just one of many serious health issues that can and do occur. lets face it we all do them for different reasons but at the end of the day the body is not suppost to have trhese kind of drugs in them, it not designed to carry that level of pressure you are placing on it or the level of bulk you place on it.

sorry bro but they are the cold hard facts.

so in answer to your question yes it could be your use of AAS. and 27% is a low worring figure, if i were you i would never even look at an amp or vial again.
