i recently purchased a ring for my girl......and spent $2400 but i think i may up the size of the diamond for another $2000 totalling $4400.. remember its a one time deal. look at every possible ring for the right price before you buy>..... good luk

I'm laughing....

I think my hubby paid $400.00 for my first ring( mind you, this was a long time ago). I loved the ring even tho' it was a small diamond and NOTHING like what some of my pals had on their finger's from their men.( Most of them have been divorced since then as well)

He did get me a new ring when our daughter was born. But....the first diamond is still close to my heart on a necklace!

She promptly told me that was crazy and that she'd never want a guy to spend so much money on a ring for her and that all she would want is something that looks nice and does not blatantly say "hey look my ring is very expensive."

....and if you believe THAT, I have a line on some nice "lakefront" property in Florida you may be interested in, at a very reasonable price of course....
