Son, it's not the law! Spend what you think is fair for a nice ring. When I bought my wife her ring I didn't spend 2 month's salary. I picked out a ring and gave it to her. Shit, I paid more for her tits then her ring. But I get more out of her tits.

I'm working on in store financing but I'm not sure I'll get it considering my past history with credit cards when I was younger.
