End of cycle when should I tone down the food?

I am starting clomid in another week and was wondering when I should start to eat more moderately again, I'm getting a gut and starting taking an eca today and a little cardio after my workout to try to keep it under control. Need advice, what should I do at this point?

Why should he decrease his training regimen??? If you've been eating clean continue to do so and eat with a goal in mind....cut vs. bulk....I myself, and many others, train the same while on or off....if you don't feel like you're overtrianing continue with the same schedule.....
 
You have to decrease intensity of your training because your body is most likely going to be fighting a catabolic state, the drop in test levels will cause that. That is why you need more calories, jump on glutamine and creatine too. I upped my calories, drank weight gainer everyday, glutamine, creatine, multivitamin, and ALA. I haven't lost one pound or any strength and i have been off for 2 months now.
 
i agree with upping the calories when you come off..atleast for 3 weeks.

and the training all depends on how you feel..just listen to your body.
 
I've read it's good to try to cut the volume a little and lower the reps, like 80% of your 1 rep max while on. The heavy compound stuff should help increase test production and preserve your new muscle. But I listen to what the guys w/ more experience have to say first.
 
thanks bro's as always great advice I guess I'll keep the food high and keep the training moderate until my test levels come back online then I'll ease up for a couple of months or so and get ready for my next cycle this fall
 
oneandthesame i cannot agree with what the fellows here mentioned about increasing calories after a cycle.

After the end of your cycle your endogenous T is compleetly suppressed. So for between 1 and 3 weeks or so you will have little or no T in you at all depending on how long you cycled. Testosterone is antagonistic to fat storage just as Estrogen (E) encorages fat storage. If you took a amoratizing AAS like Test, D-bol, etc. without anti-E like anastrozole then you will also have elevated E as well. This all means it is going to be MUCH easier for you to add fat now then on your cycle.

Protein intake should go up as your bodies abitilty to maintain positive nitrogen balance wil not be as good as on cycle. However, calories need to go down. Training volumne and/or intensity need also to go down.
