encrypted e-mail question

i have an ecrypted e-mail account with elitefitness. however others have accounts with ziplip, etc. to send (and recieve) encrypted e-mail from ziplip, do i have to have a separate e-mail account with them (ziplip) also?

if so, kind of sux having to get 3-4 encrypted accounts-

i guess it just adds one more layer, one more step for someone who is trying to check e-mail. not sure why they would put alot of effort into decoding someone's email unless that person was in a lot of trouble.

The Feds can't touch the PGP encryption..esp the new PGP from Germany. ..and please don't even try to argue this

Why do you guys have to bust my balls so much?? I know this because I have connections..(to protect myself) What do you think the terrorists used?? They used PGP programs from germany & Asia. These types of programs aren't even legal in the US. I only speak about what I know. Do you think the Govt. would have read these(decrypted) and ignored them..please

i don't have connections but i have read many news articles indicating that the terrorists (and others) ARE using encryption programs to e-mail back and forth with changing keys, etc. and that the govt. is having a very hard time with it (cracking the encryption schemes). some of the programs are homemade, so to speak, and are very specifically made to be used independently of a web browser, etc. anywayz, the point is that it is less likely that my e-mails will be read by snooping eyes if it is encrypted and also i am not a terrorist.

i'll try to post a link to some articles if i can find them again.

I believe that you would have been very correct in the past, but because of "9-11" I no longer believe that any encrypted web server is free from federal eyes. Its unfortunate but actually necessary to stop terrorism before another 9-11 occurs. What I have heard from a few people is that e-mails are randomly screened by a computer that only keys on certain words that are used by suspected terrorists. I have heard that most encrypted servres are not exempt, because most countries have joined in the war on terror. E-mails that are free of the key words fly by unscreened. I have no way of knowing if this is 100% accurate or not. By the way 1mistake my crack about you getting busted was out of line. Personaly I would like to see you get minimum jail time or just probation if all your statements in the other thread were true. Peace.
