Email etiquette question for mods & vets

I know how it feels. This happens to me on the Corvette board. I get frenetic messages from members asking me all sorts of questions ranging from my nitrous oxide setup to my tires. I always take the time to answer, but I would say 8 out of 10 never reply back even with a simple ‘thank you’.

simple suggestion

I think I will adopt the system we use at work for short messages that spare the reciever having to open it. We just put a short 1-liner message in the subject field then type "(NT)" for "No Text", indicating that the 1-liner is the whole message. Soooo, for example: "thanks for the help bro! (NT)". That way the helpful mod knows he's done a good deed and he can conveniently hit the delete button and move on to the next dude. By obvious extension, a newbie's whole message might fit on the subject line. For example: "can I drink Winny? (NT)". ......... couldn't resist :D

All the M.O.D s on the board have helped me out alot and I tell you all thanks now. Thanks to all the bro's on the board who have give advice to me as well.
