elliptical machine

ndto

New member
Ive recently been doing 30 min of cardio after every work out and I found that I burn the most calories on the elliptical machine, I woud run but I messed up my ankle in high school,

anyway I find that while im on it my feet fall alseep, more like my toes, they feel numb after about 15 min of cardio, is it my shoes or do I have bad circulation, I dont smoke.

could be bad circulation, but is prolly the shoes. r they too tight?

no theyre not too tight, i never lace them up to that point and i wear shox when I excercise

Does the machine that you use have a 'foot' pad thing, with a lip to keep your shoes from slipping off? I remember using one that did...and my feet would feel the same way. I just positioned my feet in the center most of the foot pad thing and my feet are cool.

do you have foot problems? i have bunions on both my feet and the eliptical can make my toes numb if im up on the balls of my feet too much.

I'll ditto this. I had the same problem and this remedied it.

Also, despite the fact that you don't lace them up tightly, your shoes could still be too tight in the toes.

It's probably what jon1320 said, though.
