Is it just me or is everyone getting a popup with EACH CLICK on something here on Elite today?
I am NOT getting this on any other site today...

Did the site change up someohow? (and YES) I have the google toolbar popup blocker on :worried: , but its not catching any of them :o


After I get some answers I will delete this thread since it has little to do with anabolics (though it IS causing me stress and certainly raising my catabolic hormones here, so technically it could be twisted into an anabolic issue ;))
 
I havent had a problem with them today bro. When I go to the elite site though everyday I get an annoying one . but it is only with the initial startup. POP UPS SUCK MAN>

I run Adaware ATLEAST once a week, and use anitviral software...It just seemed to have happened this morning though (but ONLY on this site :worried: )

I noticed alot of pop-ups when I ran Adware . I think it's time for spyware. It eliminated all pop-ups I was getting. Spyware, I think will be illegal someday with Goverment regulation.
 
Does your homepage appear changed? Those symptons you mention sound like you have been hijacked. A major pain in the ass. Good luck it took me a month to get rid of mine.
 
My popup blocker catches them. I agree, you might have some spyware causing it.
 
I ran Adaware again today after I posted this (I just ran it 2 days ago :o) and picked up like 56 spyware items on theer (in just 2 days time)...Who's been hijacking my computer...
Almost ALL the popups were stuff like "Buy testosterone legally", "buy GH legally with a script", etc...) The kind of popups I would expect from a BB'ing site...
But since I ran it again this morning all seems fine now...Weird :worried:
 
Apparently my teenager was goofing around on my computer again (after I asked her not to :rolleyes: ) and got into who knows what (thus giving me another computer infection)
I swear the only thing that gets infected MORE OFTEN than I do is my computer :o :rolleyes:
 
I keep my task manager running and End Task on all pop ups as they appear.
The problem is, many of the pop-ups are Elite related.
Just keep your task manager running and end tasks as the pop-ups appear.
I'm sure some one will come up with a good program to block them out completely.
I've esed stopzilla, and many others. But as usual the hackers are usually one step ahead of the game.
Remember they initiate, and the the pop-up programs retaliate.
I'd say that give the hackers an edge

Yes, it is ALLLLL about studying...I have to teach them how to do things properly :p (and occassionally they teach me something about female biology/anatomy too :D)

You should probably get a professional Pop-Up Blocker from Norton or McAfee.
